Our Mission
We believe in the power of prayer. We have been dedicated to praying for priests and prodigals since 2021. So often we want to do something to help our prodigals come home to the Catholic Faith. We believe the most important thing we can do for them is to pray for them. We are a prayerful mission of love.
Our Name
We are called “The Saint Monica Club” because it was Saint Monica who prayed for years that her son, Augustine, would come home to the Catholic Faith. Saint Monica patiently persevered in her prayers, and after many years, Augustine not only became a Catholic, he also became a great Bishop and Saint.
Saint Monica’s quiet perseverance is an encouragement to anyone who has experienced the sadness, grief, discouragement, and concern about a loved one or friend who is away from the Catholic Faith.
Priests and Prodigals
Priests Baptize us, hear our Confessions, bring us Our Lord in the Eucharist, anoint us with oil, and journey with us through the spiritual life in the Person of Christ. It is the priests who administer the Sacraments that our loved ones will need to be able to come into, or come back to, the fullness of the Catholic Faith. We pray for our priests to be holy, humble, prayerful men who will be able to be gentle and compassionate shepherds to our prodigals when they are ready to come home.
